Remotown is currently seeking a Trainee WordPress Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for web development, a strong interest in WordPress, and an eye for good design. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites for our clients. You should be enthusiastic about learning new skills and agile methodologies to meet the demands of our fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
Attend client meetings and provide support as needed
Follow agile methodologies and use ticketing systems to track progress
Utilize cloud services to deploy and manage WordPress sites
Design websites with an eye for good design
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Familiarity with WordPress development or similar CMS
Proficient with frontend technologies like HTML, Javascript, and CSS, to customise the look and feel of WordPress websites.
Strong interest in web development and WordPress
Familiarity with agile methodologies and ticketing systems
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
The ability to speak German or an interest in foreign languages is a plus
Familiarity with cloud services is a plus
An eye for good design
