A reputable Fintech institution is in search of a Java Software Engineer to join its team to help develop and maintain the organization’s Java-based applications. The ideal candidate should have experience with object-oriented programming, design patterns, unit testing, microservices architecture, Java EE frameworks, databases, cloud computing platforms, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), and security best practices. Responsibilities:
● Develop and maintain Java-based applications
● Work with other engineers to design and implement new features
● Unit test code to ensure quality
● Troubleshoot and debug code
● Work with customers to understand their needs and requirements
● Work with other teams to integrate microservices
● Deploy applications to cloud computing platforms
● Automate the software development process using CI/CD
● Implement security best practices

Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
● 3+ years of experience in Java development
● Experience with object-oriented programming, design patterns, and unit testing
● Experience with Agile development methodologies
● Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
● Excellent communication and teamwork skills
● Experience with microservices architecture
● Experience working Java EE frameworks and microservices (e.g., Quarkus, Spring Boot, JBoss WildFly, Payara Server etc)
● Experience with databases
● Experience with cloud computing platforms can be an advantage
● Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD)
● Experience with security best practices
